Web Services and .NET Brown Bag Lunch

Overview

The information technology landscape is about to be transformed by a powerful new concept in application architecture. This new approach to building business solutions is called "Software as a Service" (or simply "Web Services"). This new way of architecting applications is based on the latest Internet technologies (specifically XML, XSL, SOAP, and HTTP) and grounded by time proven methodologies (specifically process-based solution design).

.NET is Microsoft's strategy to develop, implement, and support Web Services. This installment of Database Solutions' Brown Bag Lunch series will introduce the audience to Web Services and Microsoft's .NET initiative.
